This opportunity is unlike others you will find! Dr. Goodenowe's Perpetual Health is based out of California and is making huge strides in the industry. Recently they have expanded to Moose Jaw and are in expansion mode. The facility in Moose Jaw is the first private wellness facility with dedicated recovery programs for aging diseases such as ALS, Alzheimers, Dementia, MS and Parkinsons.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Full -Time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with our menu, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking, thrives in a moderate-paced environment, and values teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
Menu Knowledge: Understand, create and execute healthy recipes, making adjustments as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests.

Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.
Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient levels, minimize food waste, and communicate supply needs to the supervisor.
Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Adaptability: Assist with changing needs of clients.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a cooking role (restaurant, catering, or similar setting) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
