Description

Qualifications:
1 - 2 years experience in a supervisory role is an asset
Previous experience in customer service
Thorough knowledge of products & procedures
Current certification in approved food safety training (Advanced.fst or ServeSafe) is an asset
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to adhere to policies/procedures
Able to operate well in a fast paced environment

Customer Service
Lead by example to demonstrate the customer is top priority
Respond to customers in a friendly manner
Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner, resolving problems in a positive way
Conduct regular store walk throughs on request

People:
Lead by example & demonstrate the importance of treating every employee & customer with respect
React immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift
Provide ongoing, specific direction to employees
Encourage excitement & fun work environment while motivating employees to meet goals
Report to Store Owner &/or Manager on employee performance (positive or negative)
Assist in ensuring optimal employee coverage at all times & fill in as required during busy periods to maintain optimal customer service levels

Operations:
Display knowledge of & work in compliance with operating, food safety, security, health & safety, & employment standards &  applicable legislation
Ensure that all product & packaging is properly merchandised & stocked
Responsible for shift cash procedures
Maintain operational efficiency through use of positioning charts & pre-rush checklists
Supervise employees to ensure all duties are completed
Ensure all store policies are followed during the shift
Monitor, respond & report to management about unsafe acts & conditions
Complete all shift documentation (records waste)
Other duties as required
