1)Maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards. The Liquor Store manager provides direction and supervision to the Liquor Store Supervisors/Clerk/Cashiers.
2) Conducts regular inventory audits to ensure minimum inventory discrepancies are adhered to.
3)Plans and performs all aspects of Liquor functions including ordering liquor, stocking, and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensures display presentation and proper stock levels are maintained.
4)Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations through proper handling of questions, comments, and complaints. Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
5)Handles merchandising ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns, provides substitutions and ensures price integrity including price changes.
6)Ensures regular clean up duties to ensure an efficient, safe and clean store is maintained.
7)Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
8)Works with and creates marketing plans geared toward customer retention. Liaises with Vendors representatives on marketing plans. Liaises within store marketing team.
9)Manages Shrink/ theft per company policy.
10)Other duties as required.
