PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Clinical Counsellor to deliver services at our Humboldt and Wynyard clinic locations. This position is full time, permanent to commence in January 2025.
PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming environment that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and on going needs. The Counsellor will primarily work with adult clients facing a variety of challenges including mood disorders, trauma, grief, conduct disorders, family disharmony, etc.
Requirements:
- Appropriate bachelors or masters degree and current registration with a recognized counselling governing body i.e SASW, CAPC, etc
- Minimum of two years experience in a counselling role, with established competencies in solution focused therapy, CBT, DBT or other recognized modalities
- Proficiency in intake, assessment, file management, case planning, etc
-Experience collaborating and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of services to clients
- Strong team work capacity, highly organized, and capable of managing varied demands
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor
- Computer competencies
-Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening
