Reporting to the Director, the Essential Functions of the job are:
- prepare nutritious meals and snacks for enrolled children
- distributes food
- practice safe food handling techniques in food preparation and storage
- purchases all food and necessary supplies needed to provide food service
- maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen, pantry and storage areas; washes items used for food preparation
- attend training and other workshops as needed
- assists with other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- valid class 5 driver's license and insured automobile in good working order is required.
- Food safe certification is required.
