Away We Grow Childcare is seeking nurturing and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

Away We Grow Childcare is a licensed childcare centre caring for children 6 months to 12 years of Age. Away We Grow is dedicated to creating early childhood programming that promotes an early learning environment led by the principles of Play and Exploration.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement childcare programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and social development of children
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and wellbeing of children
Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff members.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the centre with all age groups and wide variety of duties and experiences.

Qualifications
Completion of one of the following considered an asset. Training is available for the right applicant if required. Must have a minimum of Grade 12 or Adult Basic Education 12.
Comfort and experience in the kitchen will be an asset.

Early Childhood Educator Certificate/Diploma- Education Assistant Program.
Experience working with children.
First Aid Certificate
Safe Food Handling
