The Flower Shop on Hill Avenue (opened Oct 2020). (Companion shop to KitchenGear - opened 2003) is seeking a Part-time, experienced florist/designer to join our team/family! The ideal candidate is a creative individual familiar with current floral design trends, has previous retail experience, very passionate about their work, highly motivated and enthusiastic. Must communicate clearly (verbally and written) in person, phone and via e-mail with customers, co-workers, suppliers and management.

Duties/Qualifications include:
- MUST HAVE FLORAL DESIGN EXPIERENCE
- Designing hand-tied bouquets, vase arrangements, wedding florals, memorial service arrangements
- Planting planters
- Floral design experience (2+ years)
- Superior customer service and communication skills in person and over the phone
- Knowledge of retail/florist management best practices (ie: cost reduction and minimizing waste)
- The successful candidate should have a cheerful and friendly disposition, be self-motivated and a team player that has the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

Job Types: Part-time

Salary: $17.50 to $19.00 /hour
