Description

Duties:
-    Performs routine maintenance on city equipment & vehicles
-    Regularly inspects all city equipment & vehicles to detect faults and malfunctions and performs repairs that meet manufacturers specifications; ensures all equipment & vehicles function properly
-    Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective parts, components, or systems
-    Services attachments and tools such as blades, ploughs, and winches

Required Qualifications:
-    Heavy duty mechanic ticket
-    Saskatchewan drivers licence
-    Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar field
-    Satisfactory results from a criminal record check and drivers abstract
-    Good communication and comprehension ability  written and oral

Preferred Qualifications: (Possession of the following will be considered an asset)
-    High school diploma or equivalent
-    Working knowledge of The Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Working Environment:(Applicants must be able and
willing to work in the following conditions)
-    Loud, low visibility and/or confined spaces
-    Outdoors in all weather conditions
-    Minimal supervision.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM with some overtime as required
