The Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to join the maintenance team at the worlds high-grade uranium mine, located at the Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan. You will report to the maintenance supervisor and work both on surface and underground.
In this role, you will:
-Performing predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regualr basis to ensure safe and reliable production
-Completing repairs and overhauls on equipment and piping systems on surface and underground, and performing basic welding, as required
-Troubleshooting equipment failures and document repairs
Required:
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson industrial mechanic ticket
-Three to five years of industrial experience
-Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
-Team player with good communication skills
-Excellent safety record
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP
-Previous underground maintenance experience
