Description

Delisle Valleyview Golf and Country Club is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent.

We are a beautiful 9-hole golf course that flows with the natural landscape. We are currently seeking a self-starting, organized & reliable individual committed to the growth of our maturing golf course, to join us for our 2025 season and beyond.

The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the grounds and will report to
our Board of Directors. The ultimate goal of the Superintendent and team is to produce the best turf grass and playing conditions possible.

Candidates would possess many of the following qualifications (however we are willing to train suitable candidates):
- Graduated/enrolled in a Turf Management Program
- Valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate
- Ability to work flexible hours, mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends as required
- Landscape & Irrigation repair/design/maintenance experience
- Excellent communication, record keeping & computer skills
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 drivers license

As Superintendent you would be responsible for managing all aspects of golf course maintenance such as:
- Ensure the operation of all equipment and maintenance is performed safely and within the operational manual guidelines
- Hire and Train team members on safe equipment operation
- Ensure the quality control of daily course set up, golf course conditions, and presentation are achieved
- Data Tracking; Ensure all equipment daily check in records are completed accurately
- Ensure the proper PPE is used when operating equipment for themselves and for others
- Maintain a fleet of gas powered rental golf carts
- Ensuring a safe, clean and productive work environment at all times
- Other tasks may be requested by the Board of Directors
- Act as an ambassador for DGCC and as a role model for staff and others
- Salary based on experience, background/criminal check will be required.
