The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Financial Consultant to join its Financial Services Branch.
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, the Financial Consultant is responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial statements and reports, budgeting and forecasting future financial results, analyzing, and overseeing the processing of financial information, and developing, implementing, monitoring, and recommending changes to various financial, accounting and management processes and procedures. The consultants will provide strategic and confidential consultation and advice on a broad range of functions, while providing creative solutions to the organization related to the management and day-to-day operations of the organization. They will lead and participate in projects identifying current and future business needs, industry best practices, opportunities and challenges of the organization or branch(s) and provide recommendations and execute operational improvements to methods, systems and procedures that impact SLGAs operations and people.
