As a Construction Labour at Baydo you will but are not limited to:
1. Read blueprints for work planning (an asset but not required)
2. Complete rough carpentry tasks as needed
3. Cut, shape, and join materials as needed
4. Assist in forming, bracing, placing rebar, concrete placement
5. Assist in demolition work, dirt removal, material moving
6. Assist in erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
7. Assist in any other related duties as assigned
8. Assist in general site maintenance, housekeeping, dewatering as required
9. Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resources
To be Successful at Baydo, you will have the following qualifications:
12-years experience in construction
Valid Driver license (an asset but not required)
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
The position requires good manual dexterity and coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
