Part Time Custodian for the Well-Being Offices/Employment & Training Centre
Reports To Director of Well-Being
Job Summary
Are you interested and looking for part-time work (15 to 20 hours per week) in the cleaning field? The Well-Being and Employment and Training facility is looking for a custodian. This position plays a very important role for the facility and for all who utilize the services. This position will be responsible for janitorial services, ordering of supplies, and ensuring the safety of all peoples who utilize the sidewalks and grounds for debris and weather elements.
Responsibilities
Removal of trash from all areas (inside and outside) and placed in designated removal area.
Cleaning of all garbage receptacles and smoking receptacles.
Public areas and staff areas to be cleaned and sanitization (doors, floors, walls, windows.
Inventory system of all janitorial supplies and order as needed.
Keeping janitor room clean and organized.
Refilling of dispensers on a regular basis (paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, etc).
Cleaning and maintaining floors (sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming).
Scrubbing and sanitizing restroom facilities.
Removing snow and ice from walkways and staff pathways.
Handling light facility repairs and manage preventative maintenance.
Requirements
W.H.I.M.I.S certificate or be able to obtain.
First Aid/CPR/AED or willing to take the training.
As a condition of employment, present an acceptable current CPIC.
Able to work flexible hours.
Must possess a valid Driver?s License and have a reliable vehicle.
