Qualifications:
-Be at least 16 years of age
-Have a current Standard First Aid and CPR C Certificate
-Have  National Certification for Lifeguard position
-Be able to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
-Be able to prevent accidents before they occur-previous experience is an asset
-Be able to provide 5 star customer service

General Duties Include:
-Constant monitoring of the patrons in and around the pool
-Identify safety risks and prevent incidents before they happen.
-Enforce the rules in a direct and friendly manner
-Perform first aid when needed
-Fill out thorough and accurate accident reports and report to the Supervisor or Manager immediately
-Care for patrons that need assistance (ie: wheelchair entry on ramp)
-Count and record the number of patrons as required on daily log
-Do water tests and take the pool temperature and record results on daily log
-Complete required daily and weekly cleaning and record on checklists.  Cleaning includes anything in the pool area (change rooms, fence, lamps, rails, tables, ledges, water station etc)
-Report anything that needs repair to maintenance
-Cover breaks and provide additional coverage in  Cafe
-Other duties  as reasonably assigned by the manager or supervisor
