As a member of the team at Advocate Law you would support the office with outstanding organizational skills. Your responsibilities would include:
Prepare and proofread legal documents and correspondence
typing of at least 50 WPM
Gather information from client and conduct basic legal research
Bookkeeping tasks including GST and PST reporting, bill payments, and completing bank recs
Open files and organize both electronic and paper documents
Communicate with clients, other law firm, financial institutions and realtors
Skills and Qualifications:
diploma or certificate in office administration
bookkeeping experience
secretarial experience
Professionalism
Excellent written communications skills especially in the area of grammar and spelling
Ability to manage tasks and prioritize scheduling of work load
