Job Description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, and under the general direction of the Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the day to day service delivery in such areas as, clients' needs assessment, the development and implementation of case plans, and assisting with service as well as program evaluations of Addiction Services. The incumbent is expected also to perform the role of both community education and community development.
Education:
Degree in Addiction Counseling or another Degree acceptable to the Employer
Licenses:
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge in addictions specific twelve core functions
Other Information:
The job responsibility is exercised in an office setting. however, periodic travel may be necessary.
Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
