The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the Warehouseperson 2 is responsible for helping maintain the inventory of products at the Cigar Lake warehouse. Job duties may include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and general warehouse maintenance. The job of a warehouseperson often involves using a computer tracking system.
In this role, you will:
-Issue materials from various warehouse facilities
-Ship and receive goods
-Manage the inventory cycle counts and data entry
-Load and off-load all general freight
-Use a handheld device and report in Excel
-Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
Required:
-Grade 12 education or equivalent
-Three to five years of related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment, experience in processes such as job kitting, cycle counting and MRP review
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
-Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred)
-Forklift and loader operator certification
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Experience using a handheld device to perform daily warehouse activities
-Must work a rotational work schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Experience working with SAP
-Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods
