First Filter Service opened its doors on July 1st, 1969. A family business from the beginning, First Filter Service is now operated by the third generation. Together the current staff at First Filter Service has over 100 years combined experience in the filter industry. We have many long term staff and provide a steady secure work place. General Skills, Duties and Responsibilities:
Computer skills data entry, typing, general operation of a computer
Handling of heavy loads over 50lbs
Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
Physically demanding
Attention to detail in everything
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Use parts manuals and catalogues both hardcopy and electronic
Strong English comprehension
Breadth of mechanical vocabulary
Customer service
Experience with point of sale and inventory control management systems
Pack and unpack product
Prepare labels and attach to product
Stack battery cores and prepare for shipment
Stock and front warehouse and showroom shelves
Maintain a clean working environment
Our goal is to fill a full time position with a strong candidate immediately. The majority of work hours will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm but evening and weekend shifts will be assigned on occasion.
