We are currently seeking applications for full time electrical journey persons and apprentices of all levels.
Job Details:
Perform day-to-day activities involved with electrical maintenance and construction.
Install and perform maintenance on low voltage equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and switches. Process and control equipment including, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and RTUs.
Perform scheduled, unscheduled and emergency maintenance on electrical equipment.
Perform maintenance, predictive inspections and testing on equipment.
Develop work scopes, draft procedures and perform routine repairs.
Develop and maintain testing and maintenance reports.
Deal directly with customers and carry out client requests.
Qualifications:
Red Seal Journeyman ticket or indentured apprentice.
Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and other local codes and standards.
Industrial and oilfield experience is an asset.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience with Microsoft Office and computer/web-based applications is an asset.
Must possess strong professionalism, integrity, commitment to quality and have an attention to detail with organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to take initiative to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must possess a strong work ethic and positive team-based attitude.
Valid safety tickets including: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, Fall Arrest, Mobile Equipment Operator, CSTS are considered an asset but not required.
Valid driverss license is an asset.
