GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Financial Analyst, in close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Provincial Manager, Financial Services (PMFS), takes a leadership role in the Agency'ss budget process, financial reporting process, financial system implementation and external audit process.

The Financial Analyst will also assist the CFO/PMFS with reviewing internal controls, developing financial policies and providing financial advice to management and other staff.  This position is responsible for the timely completion of assigned financial projects.  Each of the Financial Analysts has a different emphasis in the tasks that they perform.

SKILLS:

- CPA accounting designation
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to work with all levels of
  management and medical staff.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with little supervision.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Advanced computer skills with in-depth knowledge of Excel and Word.  - Experience in Oracle Cloud financial system is an asset.
- Familiarity with contracts, particularly drug product listing
  agreements is an asset.
- Highly motivated and energetic.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Discretion, integrity and sound judgement.
- Knowledge of culturally responsive care for First Nations and Metis
people.
