Description

Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual as a Butt-N-Top log loader operator.


Note* Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment is an asset.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
    Loading and offloading of Tree Length and CTL Logs.
    Maintain accurate records and equipment logs
    Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance   before, during, and after each shift
    Maintain cleanliness of work area
    Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations

Must follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of Log Loader experience
-Experience operating other equipment such as excavator, dozer, skid steer and packer are also an asset
-Class 1A license an asset
