Hiring an experienced cook for a Distillery/Pub for part-time work and prep days. Unique atmosphere, smokehouse-style food menu. Open hours are Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings, Saturday afternoons and possibly Sundays for private/events as booked through the holiday season.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and some holidays.
Employment Requirements:
- Kitchen prep/cook experience required
- Plating/presentation focused
- Know how to run a menu efficiently and promptly
- Keep a clean kitchen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service skills - able to exceed customer expectations
- Have a positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Problem-solver
- Be able to work with minimal to no supervision and have strong initiative.
- Perform efficiently during peak periods
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and the initiative to be productive during slow times
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must have Food Safe Saskatchewan Certificate attached to resume.
- Must have a valid license/reliable vehicle as we are located between Moose Jaw and Caronport, or reliable transportation.
Wage: $15+/hour based on experience, plus tips. Pay is usually $25-30/ hour worked with tips.
