KEY CHEVROLET CADILLAC BUICK GMC, a member of the Key Auto Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Automotive Service Technicians examine, test and repair parts and systems of vehicles including engines, steering systems, drive trains, suspensions and electrical systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform timely repairs
*Examine and test drive vehicles to determine repairs required
*Maintain accurate records of work performed per repair
*Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain parts needed and save/tag parts if required for warranty or customer request
*Maintain work and shop area in a neat and clean manner and account for any/all business-owned tools
*Complete factory-sponsored training programs and keep current of all factory bulletins
*Follow health and safety policies and wear personal protection equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
*Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson's Certificate
*Mechanical aptitude and interest
*Good understanding of mechanical systems, engines and electronic equipment
*Ability to use a computer and diagnostic equipment
*Communication skills
*Valid Class 5 Driver's license must be maintained throughout course of employment
