Description

Full-time or Part-time (flexible schedule; availability preferred Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM, with occasional weekends and evenings)
We are seeking a compassionate and engaging individual to support a 22-year-old male with developmental disabilities and a seizure disorder. This role is essential in enhancing his social interactions, recreational activities, and life skills both at home and within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and enjoyment.
Assist with life skill development in a supportive and encouraging manner.
Provide personal care assistance as needed.
Build a positive relationship while effectively managing strong personalities and charm.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with strong enunciation.

Requirements:
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
Valid SK Class 5 drivers license & access to vehicle as clients location is on an acreage outside of Martensville
Satisfactory Drivers Abstract.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in a related field.
Educational background in Developmental Services or a related area.
Experience working with individuals who exhibit manipulative behaviors, emphasizing positive engagement techniques.
Own vehicle that willing to transport client in
PART Training
