What's the role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, and 5+ years of related work experience in manufacturing or mining industry. Preferably, the person would have current Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification, or an experienced Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) person looking for greater challenges or a change.
You will become an integral part of our manufacturing team. Mechanical design work is part of many of our design/build projects, as well as modifications to existing designs. Experience working with Autodesk Inventor would be an asset.
There will be an initial training period utilizing our systems to complete drawing takeoffs, estimating, and sourcing. This will equip you with knowledge of our systems. Eventually, you will assume full control of your projects from the initial estimate, customer communication, to design and detailing for shop production.
