The Role
Reporting to the Mine General Supervisor, you will be part of a team responsible for the daily operation of Camecos McArthur River Mine.
In this role, you will:
-Be responsible for the short term (i.e. daily, weekly) management of production drilling, raiseboring, underground mucking, and underground construction,
-Help with the reliability of underground mining equipment activities, continuous improvement, mine safety and mine QMS management
-Have a proven history of leadership in providing safe and reliable execution of tasks, business focus, developing others, building relationships, and achieving results in a mining environment
-Have excellent communication, working with minimal direction within a multi-functional mining team, displaying initiative and striving to achieve results
Required:
-Grade 12 diploma
-Minimum of 10 years of mine operational experience, underground preferred
-An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
-Previous front line supervisor experience
-Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan supervisors certificate
-Great understanding of mine safety and safety systems
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Familiar with Bentley would be an asset
-Mine Blasting Certified or familiar with mine blasting activities and able to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting Certificate
-SAP experience
-Understanding of reliability centred operation
-Previous uranium mining experience
-Familiarity with iOS devices
