Description

Palandri Cabinets, a premier cabinet manufacturer in Regina, is looking for a qualified and motivated full-time Cabinet Engineer / Designer. Applicant must be able to effectively communicate with clients and team members throughout the design process. They must have a strong understanding of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes to create functional and stylish designs
Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
    Work collaboratively with Interior and Architectural Designers, and handle in person meetings with homeowners / clients to develop and design cabinet layouts.
    Anticipating and informing clients of additional features which may be of use to them.
    Going to jobsites to take measurements and suggest design solutions.
    Produce cabinet elevations and plan views for client review.
    Price out cost of cabinetry as designed.
    Liaison between Project Managers, Interior Designers & shop staff for any information needed to develop drawings
    Provide support for production, manufacturing & installation throughout the project
Qualifications:
    Revit Drafting OR Cabinet Vision Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
    Knowledge of cabinetry, box Construction, carpentry, laminate & veneer work, and millwork
    Must possess strong computer, written & verbal skills
    Must be extremely organized & detail oriented
    Ability to read & interpret construction documents
    Must have an in-depth knowledge of various millwork materials, wood species & construction methods
    2 years of verifiable cabinet design experience would be preferred but not a requirement
    Proficient with Microsoft Office
    Accessible, accountable, and responsive
    Creative, organized, motivated and honest
    A team player with an enthusiastic attitude
