Description

ISM is seeking a results-oriented professional to assume responsibility for our financial management operational functions. The Manager, Finance, will apply proven expertise in finance and accounting disciplines, coupled with strong leadership and managerial skills, to support ISMs business needs. The Manager, Finance, analyzes financial results, leads and trains staff, liaises with business areas on financial matters and provides guidance about related policies, procedures, and legislation.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead finance team and other project efforts, being responsible for reporting and analyzing financial results for corporate entity, product lines and customer contract profitability.
Develop financial plans and forecasts including assisting in strategic direction, cost saving initiatives, and human resource impacts within area of responsibility.
Set directions, prioritize activities and establish work and training schedules for direct reports and project team members; monitor team member progress and contributions.
Maintain financial system data integrity and reporting requirements.
Interpret and apply accounting and billing practices, procedures, policies and legislation.
Provide guidance and decision making on financial processes to ISMs executive and management teams.
Maintain high sensitivity to control fundamentals and posture of organization and recommends action to ensure adequate controls.
Periodic requirement to work flexible hours around accounting cycles.
Other duties as assigned.
