Federated Co-operatives Limited is hiring a General or Domestic (Class A or B) Gas Fitter on a permanent basis at our propane branch in La Ronge, SK, The Pas, MB, or Flin Flon, MB.

We are looking for a safety-minded Gas Fitter to join our propane team as a Propane Service Technician! We offer consistent working hours, benefits, pension, paid time off, and a work area that will have you home every night.

What you'll do:
-Provide customer service while installing propane tank systems and related equipment for agricultural, commercial, and domestic customers
-Conduct scheduled inspections, filling plants and service trucks, assessing potential hazards and reporting as required
-Operate a crane truck while following applicable standards during rigging, loading, securing, and transporting of tanks and other equipment
-Adhere to standard work procedures, industry codes, and regulations with a high standard of safety
-Participate in an on-call program for emergency call outs on some evenings and weekends to service customer needs

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in gas fitting and:
-Have experience in residential or commercial propane tank installations
-Have a high school diploma or equivalent and a General or Domestic (Class A or B) Gas Fitter license (preference for General/Class A)
-Have or are willing to obtain a class 3A license
-Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose equipment, moving cylinder tanks and other equipment with a min weight of 50lbs
