These brave Accountants battled budget discrepancies and invoice errors, ensuring every coin was accounted for and every financial statement gleamed.
Now, the Guardians of the Financial Galaxy seek to expand their ranks by inviting a new hero to join their noble mission an Accounting Assistant, who will report directly to the Guardian Leader, our Controller.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Reconciliations
Bank Deposits
Payroll & Benefits
Cash Management (VLT's, ATM's, Cash-outs and Floats)
Assist our Controller when required
Qualifications:
Preferred: Relevant accounting education and/or experience
Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Proven cash-handling skills and the ability to work independently
Beneficial: Familiarity with Opera, Sage 300, or any other accounting application
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics in English
Availability: This is a temporary position until February 6, 2024, with 30-40 hours per week on flexible days, typically Monday to Friday, working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
