Park Town Hotel has a 10000 sq ft meeting space split in 9 rooms. 173 room, 7-story, full-service hotel located in downtown Saskatoon along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. The hotel has a total of 3 Food and Beverage outlets. The Rooms and catering space just went through an extensive renovations.
As a Guest Service Agent, you must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. You must also be able to problem solve and troubleshoot to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond in emergency situations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
Answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, by telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints.
Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized systems.
Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment.
Employment requirements:
Previous hotel experience is an asset.
Available to work evenings & weekends.
