Description

The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a dynamic and progressive organization that provides a range of programs and health services to serve the eleven First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.  The position is based at the All Nations Healing Hospital, located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.  

Reporting to the Executive Director, or her designate, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of administrative duties within the department of Health Services. This position will work closely with the Human Resource and Finance department of the ANHH and the Health Services.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Coordination of committee meetings for Departments
    Assist with ANHH payroll and finance functions
    Dissemination of information
    Maintaining filing systems
    Maintaining and populating data base systems
    Other general administrative duties include occasional support to services across the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Business Diploma from a recognized post secondary institute, and two years related experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
    Excellent oral and written communication.
    Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
    Ability to function both independently and as a team member.
    Demonstrated knowledge, respect, and understanding of First Nations culture and traditions.
    Must possess valid drivers license
    Clean Criminal Record Check

Hours of Work:     Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (7.5 hrs./day). Flexibility may be required due to operational requirements
