The Cupar & District Nursing Home Inc., an affiliate of the SHA, is seeking a PERMANENT FULL TIME OUT OF SCOPE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR who will be responsible for the facility operations of this 45 bed, level 3 and 4 long term care facility, located only 45 miles northeast of Regina. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring policies/procedures, teamwork development, scheduling; workplace safety; provision of resident care; communication; standards; budget costs controls; strategic planning; department functioning. The Executive director is accountable for providing the overall direction, control and coordination necessary for the effective/efficient operation and continued quality relevancy of the facilities integrated services and programs within scope of an operating budget and policies/procedures approved by the Board of Cupar & District Nursing Home Inc. (Shalom).
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a degree/certificate in business administration or related education/experience and a minimum of 5 years of practical experience as an organizational leader.  Must be familiar with accounting procedures including knowledge of SAGE 50 along with Microsoft Excel. Must have multi-faceted generalist skills in: Labour relations; Finance; Public speaking; Long term care; Organization; and Personnel. Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements between CUPE, SAHO and SUN along with experience in the health care field would be an asset.
