Description

The Nest Health Centre is hiring a physiotherapist to help patients reach their rehabilitation and fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to address injuries, pain, mobility issues, or chronic conditions.
Implement a range of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to aid in rehabilitation.
Educate and instruct patients on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and recovery.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
Provide guidance on the use of assistive devices such as crutches, wheelchairs, or walkers.
Stay up to date with the latest physical therapy techniques, research, and trends to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Current registration and good standing with the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in physical therapy. (new graduates are welcome to apply).
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to create personalized treatment plans and adjust them based on patient progress.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
