Hours of Work: Monday to Friday  no set schedule  as needed

Position Description:
Under the general supervision of the Child Care Director and under the direct supervision of the Assistant Direction, the Child Care Educator is responsible to maintain and develop the childrens program with their group of children in the Downtown Childcare Centers.
The staff person must adhere to all the policies and regulations as set out in the Parent Handbook and Child Care Staff Manual.

Responsibilities:
Providing a safe environment for all children
Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles
Be a team player
Have a positive attitude
Punctual and dependable
Support and work collaboratively with parents and all stake holders
Communicate professionally, effectively, and respectfully with children, colleagues, and  family members

Qualifications:
Required
Good written and verbal communication skills
Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
Early Childhood Education Level I or II
Experience working with children
Knowledge of child development stages
