Description

The Town of Wynyard is currently accepting applications for the Full Time Permanent positions of:
- Public Works Equipment Operator / Labourer.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, safe and competent operation of Town equipment, maintenance and repair of Town equipment, snow removal, street sweeping, sign repair and replacement, street maintenance and repairs, water and sewer line repairs, reading water meters, trimming and removal of trees and branches.

Preference given to applicants that possess:
- Operating experience on the following equipment:
    * Backhoe, Loader, Grader, Gravel Truck, Street Sweeper, Skid-steer, Tractor w/     attachments.
- Mechanical skills,
- Strong communication skills,
- Strong record keeping skills
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently,
- A valid Class 5 drivers licence is mandatory (Class 3A or greater is definitely an asset),
- Water and wastewater certification and/or experience is an asset.
