Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist will work in collaboration with other disciplines (Speech Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Student Services Coordinators and Community Agencies) to provide comprehensive team services. This position will support students in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. Some of the duties will include:
- Provides assessment of student's ability to function in the educational environment. This may include assessment of skills and issues related to hand function, oral motor function, visual motor and perceptual skills, seating and positioning, organizational skills, sensory awareness and processing, self-care and prevocational/vocational skills
- Participate in collaborative program planning with school team, families and community agencies
- Provides recommendations for assistive technology and equipment
- Provides demonstrations and training for school teams
- Provide professional development at the division and school level
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Eligible for membership in Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and licensed by the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
- Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic education
- Experience in a school setting is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid driver's licence and own transportation
Terms of Employment:
- As per Collective Agreement
- 7.25 hrs/day

- Salary range - Corresponding hourly rate as per CUPE 2268 CBA
