There are no supervisory responsibilities. Major decisions are made within a team structure.

Basic Functions:
Performs several ongoing responsibilities within a team structure and team guidance and specific duties as listed in your employment letter.
Main job is working with participants, in suite and building cleanliness. Act as role model and mentor to Participants of Edwards Manor and provide opportunities for socialization.
Interact in a positive and supportive way with tenants in following the Peer Support Code of Ethics.
Responsibilities:
Provide a safe space for tenants to engage with support staff and one another. Foster a sense of belonging within the building.
Provide opportunities for socialization and provide cultural opportunities.
Plan and starting goals with tenants to keep suites clean and organized.
Assist with pest control prep, by bagging items, cleaning floors, kitchen, and bathroom. Removing garbage and cleaning laundry.
Keep common areas clean, door(s), handles, walls, windows, railing, and stairs.
Work with management and Maintenance for make ready cleans.
Report any maintenance needs to management.
Work with Life skill program, guiding tenants with how to manage clean ups.
Act as role model and mentor to Participants and interact in a positive and supportive way.
Enforce building rules
Provide informal supportive counselling and crisis management.
Support Participants in their goals/plan made with their Case Managers.
Fulfill all reporting requirements as required and in a timely manner.
Appropriately respond to any behaviors that put the tenants, employees, or others in the building at risk.
Report any damage in the building/suites to the Supervisor.
Other duties as they are assigned.
