Job Title: Recreational Therapist  
Location: Saskatoon

Reports to: Program Manager  
About Us: The Carter House Family Treatment Centre provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care to families affected by addiction. We support healing and resilience through integrated, culturally competent services.  
Job Overview: We seek an organized Recreational Therapist to plan and implement therapeutic recreational programs promoting physical, emotional, and social well-being for families affected by substance use. This role requires strong program management skills and creativity.  
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to determine recreational needs; develop programs for recovery; plan activities for all family members; ensure activities promote bonding and coping; organize and lead recreational activities; adapt programs for inclusivity; coordinate with staff for integration into treatment plans; evaluate program effectiveness; manage resources; ensure a safe environment; and educate families on the role of recreation in recovery.  
Qualifications: Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy or related field; strong organizational skills; excellent communication; knowledge of therapeutic practices in addiction recovery; ability to work with diverse backgrounds.  
Preferred: Knowledge of trauma-informed care; experience in family treatment centers.  
Compensation: $26 to $30 per hour with benefits.
