Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, development and implementation of communication strategies for SGI, SGI CANADA and internal audiences, and for directing media relations for SGI, SGI CANADA and its regional operations. Collaborates with leadership on issues management and crisis communications, providing guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders. Manages and monitors corporate writing services and represents the department on corporate committees that develop policies and initiatives. Liaises with the Ministers Office, Executive Council and Crown Investments Corporation on strategic communication issues including communications items for Cabinet.
