Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? As a Youth Care Leader, youll play a crucial role in guiding both our team and participants in a supportive group living environment. Youll leverage your expertise to develop and implement engaging activity plans, encourage collaborative decision-making, and act as a positive role model in a therapeutic, safe, and stable setting. Your compassionate approach will provide essential care and support to individuals with complex needs, such as behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders. Youll also be a key player in ensuring that treatment plans are effectively implemented, addressing the emotional and physical needs of each participant with dedication and care.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services
     * Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with complex needs, behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and related issues.
     * Create and maintain a therapeutic environment.
     * Lead the development and execution of activity plans.
     * Engage actively and fully with participants.
     * Share observations with clinical professionals and unit managers regarding treatment plans, goal setting, life skills, and social development groups.
     * Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions.
     * Lead daily group meetings and facilitate educational groups.
     * Support participants in areas including safety, treatment, medication administration, healthcare, nutrition, chores, and hygiene.
     * Teach essential life skills such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and positive social interactions.
     * Resolve conflicts and respond to crisis situations using behavior management and support methods, including conflict resolution, crisis management, and life space interviewing.
     * Complete reports and documentation clearly, accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with agency standards.
