Commissionaires South Saskatchewan is looking for dedicated individuals to work as security guards in a variety of locations across the province of Saskatchewan for the day of the election (date to be confirmed when election is called). The successful candidate will be licensed as a temporary security guard through the Ministry of Policing and Corrections (facilitated by the Commissionaires).
This position is for one day, and could involve working extended hours. Overtime would be paid accordingly, but the staff person would be required to be present for the entire election proceedings.
Requirements:
Must successfully complete a Criminal Record Check.
Must be able to work in Saskatchewan.
Experience in the security industry, seen as an asset.
Multiple language profiles seen as an asset.
Attention to detail and professional approach in all areas of work and appearance.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Able to provide excellent customer service.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with accuracy.
Physical Demands:
The employee may frequently be required to sit and use hands to manipulate office equipment including a computer keyboard and mouse.
The employee is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time or walk to various locations providing security checks.
