Description

Aldon Oils Ltd. is an E&P company with operations in SE Saskatchewan.  This is a full-time employment position, based in Weyburn, SK.
As the Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance/accounting team and will assist in managing daily accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Input, analyze and review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to senior management.
Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Candidate Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years experience.
Oil and gas industry related experience would be an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently and also as part of a great team.
