Description

Under the supervision of the Finance Technician, the Finance Officer performs the following services within the framework of Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nations core policies, functions and governance on behalf of the Nations membership. The Finance Officer is responsible for performing accounting and clerical services such as check processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and filing. This position will need to have the ability to work in a team environment and assist where required. The Finance Officer provides an essential service to band employees, students, leadership and committees in an efficient and polite manner. The position ensures compliance with financial policies and procedures as approved by the Chief & Council.
