Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coaching and developing team members
2. Schedule staff according to sales needs, ensuring SPEH targets are achieved
3. Provide positive, friendly and proactive interactions with all internal and external customers.
Maintain excellent customer service standards.
4. Provide feedback regarding recommendations and plans for continued improvement of
store operations
5. Ensuring compliance with applicable provincial regulations & legislation
6. Order, receive, inventory control and selling merchandise
7. Create action plans to address slow moving or deleted items
8. Responsible for claims, invoices and all other paper work in a timely, accurate fashion,
meeting policies and procedures
9. Assist in preparation and management of annual operating plan and goals and be
responsible for sales, margin, expenses, inventory and SPEH
10. Implement marketing and merchandising concepts. Including planning LTOs, WPPs and
Seasonal Promotions.
11. Assist with the adherence and enforcement of Pioneer Co-op policies and procedures and
the Loss Prevention Program
12. Lead a culture of safety through adherence to co-op standards for health and safety, and
loss prevention
13. Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Previous retail sales and inventory experience in liquor and liquor related products and previous supervisory skills required. Strong commitment to exceptional Customer Service. Proven ability
to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and strong motivational skills. Good delegation skills with a focus on customer service. Will require Serve It Right Saskatchewan Certification and strong knowledge of all legal requirements as set out by
Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming. Heavy lifting required and ability to operate power jack.  Shifts include days, evenings & weekends. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position.:
