Description

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc./EGADZ requires a Human Resources Coordinator interested in a Full-Time position.
EGADZ is an inter-agency, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide services for hard-to-serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.
The HR Coordinator ensures that policies and procedures comply with standard legal and regulatory practices. They support the work of the Executive Director, management, and staff at EGADZ. Duties include overseeing recruitment and onboarding, maintenance of files and records, and fostering a healthy workplace.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree in HR or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional HR credentials from the HR Certification Institute are a plus
Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
Knowledge of Indigenous and culture and issues
Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and MS Office
Knowledge and experience with the full cycle of recruitment, trends and issues to mitigate recruitment and retention issues
Superior communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to empathetically interact with persons of all ages and cultural backgrounds
Experience with successful coaching and problem-solving techniques in the workplace
Must have a valid drivers license that reflects a safe driving record - A Driver's Abstract is Required
Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Persons

Starting Wage $25.00
