ICON Construction Ltd. is looking for an experienced Industrial Project Coordinator/Estimator to improve overall project operations of a multi-discipline (Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Scaffold, Civil) construction and maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of a project from inquiry to project closeout. This individual will maintain a culture of zero harm and safety awareness, foster an engaged workforce, and drive on-time delivery as just a few of their responsibilities.

Job Duties:
Attend bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy.
Review technical Specifications and Drawings for pricing and scope review.
Prepare estimates of materials, labour, sub-contractor costs, etc. for project bids.
Maintain and complete tender processes, including administrative tasks.
Work effectively and accurately in time-sensitive situations while delegating to a team.
Consult with existing clients as well as new owners, consultants, and engineers.
Perform additional assignments per management's direction.
Hold coordination meetings and assess job priorities.
In conjunction with the Project Manager, plan, coordinate, and assign work to site crews and ensure equipment & materials are available to complete the required work.
Monitor work projects to ensure the safe and timely execution of all activities.
Qualifications Requirements
Minimum 5 years estimating experience, or related field experience
Minimum of 5 years experience managing construction and maintenance projects in an industrial setting.
Construction Project Management Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel and Word).
Valid drivers license and ability to travel as required
Education
B.Sc. in Engineering, technical diploma, or a Journey person Certification in the Trades is preferred
