Description

We are looking for an Intermediate Engineer who is eager to take on exciting projects and propel meaningful improvements in our milling operations. In this role, youll support a range of projects from start to finish, design innovative solutions, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts. Youll collaborate with tradespeople and operators to elevate standards and enhance infrastructure, mentor junior engineers, and tackle complex challenges. Responsibilities:
-Provide engineering support and execute multidiscipline projects from conception to completion
-Identify requirements and prepare detailed designs for a variety of projects, repairs and upgrades
-Develop feasibility studies, value engineering and cost estimates to support continual improvement
-Collaborate with tradespeople and operators to help drive and implement standards and improvements
-Participate in risk assessment of new designs and existing circuits
-Team-up with other disciplines, subject matter experts and operational personnel to solve process problems
-Identify opportunities for improvement and develop project proposals

Skills and Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering
-Consideration will be given to Technologists with applicable experience
-Previous industrial experience is an asset
-Knowledge of codes, standards and best engineering practices is considered an asset
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation and SAP considered an asset

Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake mine site
-14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
