Responsibilities:
Issue Certificate of Analysis (C of As) direct to customers in a timely manner.
Inspection of outboarding product and trailers.
Conducts daily/quarterly or shipment analysis requirements including but not limited to bake, farinograph, falling number, granulation, moisture, protein, ash, micro, water, Vomitoxin and Ochratoxin.
Reports and records the results of the analysis on daily worksheets.
Participates in cleaning daily work area and lab.
Participates in multiple audits and regulatory inspections.
Assist in conducting investigations on potential out of spec production, if investigation. determine rework or discard, when appropriate hold product and/or complete IOR.
Team member must exhibit strong understanding and supporter of GMPs, foods safety, safety, allergen awareness and sanitation principles.
Must participate in all training related to role, including safety and food safety, HACCP, allergen awareness and sanitation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food manufacturing setting is an asset.
Post-secondary education in Food Science, Baking, Agriculture, HACCP is an asset.
Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, accurate data entry and strong organizational skills.
