Description

SUMMARY:
The Safety Patrol Manager to help create and implement strategies to prevent and respond to potential threats within the First Nation. They will supervise the Safety Patrol team, ensuring they perform their expected duties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Reports directly to the Director of Operations.  
2.Responsible for directing the activities of the Safety Patrol.
3.Create and implement schedules for safety patrol staff to ensure adequate coverage.  
4.Be the sole authority and command at the scene of an emergency when required.  
5.Ensuring all safety equipment is monitored on a regular basis and is in good working order.  
6.Train and direct the activities of the Safety Patrol to ensure that trained staff are available in the event of an emergency.
7.Maintain records on incidence of fire, injuries, and loss of property, prepare reports as required.
8.Prepare and monitor the budget for the Safety Patrol.
9.Coordinate prevention education and awareness programs.  
10.Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards.
11.Any other duties as assigned by Director of Operations.

Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Security Guard License or Private Investigator Security Guard Training Certificate.
Must have CPR and First Aid. Have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
Submit a pre-employment drug screen and current Criminal Records check within thirty days of commencing employment.
